No. NEXT NUMBER assigns you an anonymous player ID automatically the first time you open the App, so you can start playing and appear on the leaderboards right away — no email or password required.
Yes, the core game is fully playable without an internet connection. An internet connection is only needed to submit scores to the leaderboards and to view rankings.
Since NEXT NUMBER doesn't use accounts, your anonymous player ID lives on your device. Reinstalling the App or moving to a new device will start you with a fresh player ID, and your previous username/ranking history won't carry over.
Open Settings from the home screen and tap the pencil icon next to your username.
